Captain Ron's live Cleared 4 Takeoff class has helped thousands of people leave their fear of flying behind. This informative 2.5 hour class educates you and teaches you coping strategies so you can become a better flyer.

Two live classes In Phoenix are part of the Cleared 4 Takeoff Program. There is the introductory Basic Class: CFT 101 and the Advanced Class: CFT 202. Since CFT 202 involves an actual flight on a commercial airline, it is highly recommended that a fearful flyer enroll in CFT 101 before signing up for CFT 202.

Class Locations

Basic Class CFT 101 is held at Sky Harbor Airport in Terminal 3. You will receive a reminder email prior to class with the exact location inside the terminal and directions to the room the class will be held in.

Advanced Class CFT 202 will begin in Terminal 4 where we will meet at the ticket counter, proceed to a classroom, and then on to the gate. Prior to the class date, you will receive email confirmation of where you'll need to report to check in for the flight.

Basic Class CFT 101

CFT 101 is an engaging and informative two-hour class that educates the fearful flyer on the three things people fear most: takeoffs, turbulence, and landings. Coping strategies and techniques are presented. There is opportunity to ask questions. We guarantee that you'll feel better about flying after taking this class!

The tuition for this 2.5 hour class is $57.

Advanced Class CFT 202

The advanced class, scheduled during the busy travel months, involves an actual roundtrip trip on a commercial flight. We typically fly to Burbank, get off the plane and grab some lunch, then get back on the same aircraft for the return flight. The tuition for CFT 202 of $197 includes a pre-flight mini-class with Captain Ron and the cost of the ticket. These take place on a Saturday morning and we're back in Phoenix by mid-afternoon.  We are in the process of scheduling an advanced class on April 26.  If interested please send us an email at diane@fearlessflight.com

Many fearful flyers like to bring a supportive friend or spouse along on this flight. If you are going to be flying with a coach, we offer the reduced price of $330 for both people, which includes the cost of the ticket for the coach.

We need a minimum number of flyers in order to book this class. Many fearful flyers take a short practice flight on their own to practice what they learned in CFT 101 or the Webinar. Some fearful flyers take along a friend or partner to help coach during this practice flight. Or, either Captain Ron or Diane is available to accompany you on a practice flight. One-on-One Coaching

If you're in the Phoenix area, Capt. Ron is available for individual coaching at an hourly rate of $150/hour. Besides being an aviation veteran, Capt. Ron has his master's degree in professional counseling. He understands airplanes AND people. He normally spends a minimum of two hours with the fearful flyer. He is also available to fly with people who need that extra help to get into the air.
